Assessment before treatment
Every plan begins with the injury mechanism, your training history and the demands of your sport. A hands-on movement and physiatric examination identifies the involved tissues and the patterns that may have contributed, and prior imaging is reviewed in context. Diagnostic ultrasound can clarify selected tendon and soft-tissue findings in the office.
Rehabilitation that progresses
Recovery is programmed, not improvised. Load adjustment, progressive strengthening and movement retraining advance according to your examination and symptoms, coordinated with your physical therapist or trainer. The target is the capacity your sport demands, not the absence of pain at rest.
Return to training
Return to sport is staged and criteria based. We define the strength, movement and tolerance benchmarks that matter for your activity, test them honestly, and build back volume and intensity in order. Most sports injuries recover without surgery; a surgical opinion is sought only when a structural problem truly requires it.
Recovery strategy and regenerative options
Recovery between sessions is planned as carefully as the sessions themselves, including sleep, nutrition and workload management. When appropriate, PRP or other regenerative options may be discussed for selected tendon, ligament or joint problems, always as a complement to rehabilitation rather than a replacement for it.
