How we begin
Care starts with a private physician review: your history, prior attempts, current medications and the goals that matter to you. Lab work helps identify thyroid, metabolic and hormonal contributors, and body composition assessment distinguishes fat loss from the muscle loss that often accompanies rapid weight change.
Prescription options, when appropriate
When clinically appropriate, prescription options that support appetite and metabolic regulation may be discussed as one part of a broader plan. Prescribing is never automatic and never guaranteed; it follows evaluation, informed discussion of benefits and risks, and ongoing monitoring.
GLP-1 medications and weight loss injections
GLP-1 medications are prescription medicines that act on appetite, fullness and blood sugar regulation. Semaglutide (Wegovy) and tirzepatide (Zepbound) are weight loss injections that are FDA-approved for chronic weight management in adults with obesity, or with overweight and at least one weight-related condition. They are considered only after a physician assessment, with labs, regular monitoring and a strength-preserving plan. Prescribing is never guaranteed.
Protecting strength and muscle
Weight lost without strength is weight lost poorly. Every plan includes strength training guidance and attention to protein intake so that lean mass is preserved while body composition improves. This is where metabolic care and performance health meet.
Follow-up and monitoring
Progress is reviewed on a regular schedule, with labs, body composition and symptoms guiding adjustments. The plan changes as you do, and the goal is a result you can maintain, not a number you reach briefly.
